e-PARTS Explorer is completely written in Java J2EE (Java2 Enterprise Edition) platform and needs no components or plugins that require purchasing a license, other than the DB Server or Application Server.

The use of Java technology guarantees that e-PARTS Explorer will be compatible with a majority of operating systems.

The same J2EE architecture is used both for the DVD and for the WEB version of Explorer. Different architectural components have been chosen to meet each specific version requirements.

A single e-PARTS DVD/CD-ROM in a PC on a local network can serve up to 50 users (or more) of simultaneous users working at almost any station connected the same network and requires only a compatible browser.
